Return to Vivide and learning its new rules

Return visit to my favorite Atlanta club after a long hiatus. I had read where there had been a drop off of the crowd/dancers amid new floor dance rules, so I was a bit worried. Arrived around 5PM and I’ve honestly never seen the club so crowded. Walking around pretty much anywhere was a task, and available seating was sparse. Reminded me somewhat of the old Follies days. Plenty of dancers, I said 11-25 but it could have been more than 25. Typical mix of white, black and latina, and I thought the hotness was factor was typical of Vivide in the past — lots of 8s, a couple of 9’s, but very few fuglies.

After I arrived, I got captured by a young twentysomething dancer who broke me in with some floor dances. She was very pretty, but excessively chatty and started pushing for VIP before we even got started. Mentioned she had a couple of VIP rules I didn’t like, but FS was offered. I sent her packing.

Ran into an old favorite, a Latina dancer with giant bosoms. After a couple of dances she told me I couldn’t really grope and she couldn’t face me when dancing; a waitress/manager arrived behind me mentioning the same and suggested VIP. These were the new rules, alas. At least the message was more apologetic than scolding; so I took the advice and went to VIP.
