Expensive Monday mongering at HK.

First time crossing the border in over a year. Some changes, and some continuity from my last visit. Parking fees were the same at $8/8 hours. Taxi to the club was $10, and my years supply of Cialis at the pharmacy at the border crossing was about $40. No Rx needed.

As others have stated, prices are up. I'd say about 25%. $70 for a VIP card that gets you a clean, decent room for about $35 on Monday's, and Tuesday's, and a free drink. That card used to be $50, then $60, and now it's $70. One change was interesting to me... it is now a non smoking club. Crazy that one can smoke their heart out in Vegas, but not in TJ. Anyway...

I got there about 7:30 pm, and it was not too busy. A bottle of beer was $6+tip. A drink for the girls was $11. Be careful of the girls when they are ordering. Ask the server how much it costs BEFORE he walks away. Some of them try to get a $30 (or more) wine type drink. If they do that just tell them then can leave. If they start off trying to scam you right off the bat, I don't think it's a good move to spend much time with them.
