Pricey for what and where it is

This was my first time at Godfathers I in Wheeling, WV. It basically shares a parking lot with Wheeling Island Racetrack and Casino. I parked at the casino and caught the last few fights of UFC 305 at their sportsbook. Quick 3 min walk from the casino to Godfathers thru the lot.

Cover was a steep $20 as there was a feature pornstar dancer (per door guy it's usually $15 on late Saturday nights and $10 earlier). This was my first sign that this club was going to be more expensive than anticipated. Who is really making a special trip specifically to see a porn star in Wheeling??

Anyway, club is fairly small - one big square room with a handful of tables and chairs, 1 bar, 1 stage, 1 pole, about 8 or 9 girls on shift. Not a hole in the wall but certainly closer to divey than upscale. Pretty limited seating so I was kinda stuck awkwardly standing in the back for much of the night. I did appreciate a monitor by the stage that displayed the name of the dancer performing as well as the queue of dancers up next. While the feature dancer did create a fun party atmosphere (whipped cream stage show and getting frisky with other girls up there), I did feel like I was at a disadvantage as an out of towner. This seems to be somewhat of a locals / regulars spot and they were monopolizing the time of the dancers they clearly knew very well.
