C minus night at Pandos

Headed into Pando’s on a Friday night after a show around 11:30PM.

This is a Seattle indie club, a one-off situated a couple of miles from I-5 on an old highway. It’s the typical auto dealerships, Chinese restaurants, and shitty apartments etc. area in our town that also has titty bars. The parking lot was nearly full, and a few security guys were out front smoking. I went in, paid the $21 entrance fee, grabbed a soda water at the “bar”, and sat down a few rows from the stage. The layout is one big room with two stages, a somewhat private LDA in the back, and curtained off rooms for VIP around edges of the space. Dances are generally $40 for one, 3 for $100, and VIP rental starts at $90 (?) for 15 minutes on a weekend night. Girls want 250-500 and up for VIP. In attendance this night were a typical mix of no-pussy-at-home PNW PL’s: Indian IT dudes, Mexican laborers, and comfortably dressed solo middle aged white dudes.
