Dead on an afternoon, decent drink prices

So I came in during a normal, non-holiday week right after an early day of and arrived around 4:45. First thing I noticed is that I was one of two customers and I couldn't see a single girl in the place. I sat down at the bar (which is right up front) and ordered a beer from the very friendly bartender. I wasn't charged a cover, and let's just say I would have been pissed if I had paid a cover for what came next.

I sat, fucked off on my phone, and nursed my beer while scanning the place for any sign of life. I didn't see a single girl cross into the main bar/couch area for about 10 mins, so I jokingly asked the bartender about whether any dancers worked there or if I was in the wrong place. She laughed and told me that "they were struggling to get females to come in today" because the schedule they make for the dancers is treated more like a wishlist than an actual plan. Girls sign up and don't show, or they don't sign up and decide to show anyway. The manager was (supposedly) on the phone trying to get someone, ANYONE, to come in for the day and she implored me to be patient and someone would be in eventually.

I shrugged, ordered another beer, and settled in. After about another 15 minutes, a girl burst through the front door in a huff. She ran into a hallway by the bar (probably to the locker room) and she came back out a few minutes later in her "work clothes." Sadly, she was definitely way outside my preferences. Squat, heavy-build but with no real tits or ass (if you're thick around the middle, I can deal, but you better be thick up top and/or down below too). Luckily, she vamped onto the one other customer in the place who had also decided to wait.
