Trashy alt-girl place which might surprise you

I have been to this club a few times. It is known mostly as a hipster / biker / alt-girl type spot — the kind of place people go with their girlfriends to get a drink and laugh, not to get dances. Definitely feels more like a dive bar than an upscale club with stickers and graffiti all over the walls. Expect lots of girls with piercings, tattoos, and colored hair. Definitely more white girls than of different races / ethnicities but it is a mix. I don't know if I've ever encountered an Eastern European / Russian girl here. The girls' English tends to be good. I think anyone foreign would be taken aback by what a dive the spot is.

Set up is pretty unique the line-up is actually behind the bar with 3-4 poles. The upside is you have up to a half-dozen girls working those poles and around them simultaneously. The downside is that if you're sitting at the bar you're expected to tip a series of singles to every single one, even if you're not into the performer. I'd say about half the people in this place end up sitting 4 or 5 feet back from the bar against the wall so they can just drink in peace.

Generally speaking I've never gotten a dance here but this time I did and I was happily surprised. One from a light skinned black girl who honestly was kind of drunk or high or something by the time she got to me. Kept entering her Instagram handle on my phone and telling me about her life as a model and back-up dancer. Dances were excellent, quite handsy, I think she couldn't keep up the count because I probably ended up with her for 15-20 minutes for $40.
