Not worth the trip

Fantasies used to be my absolute favorite club in Providence - I had numerous regulars there and we had a great time - rules were easily bent at this club - no one cared what happened as long as you paid the entrance fee. They also used to have the upstairs open in the afternoon where the stage was nude and you could have a mini lap dance just sitting next to the stage - bizarre but fun. They also used to have a ton of girls that were young, thin, and attractive. Not the case these days and unfortunately, hasn't been in probably over 10 years, but I still do stop by because I've seen the diamond in the rough over the years. But, like Caddie, oftentimes it is a quick visit, look around, nothing of interest, and I leave.

On this recent visit, I stopped in and looked around and the place was dead. Maybe 3 or 4 girls working and maybe 5 or 6 guys. The girl on stage barely moved and to be honest, rather have her put her clothes on - she was not attractive.

No one was interesting and then I see a familiar face - Marley is working. Now, Marley has been at this club for at least 15 years. She was one of my regulars but she often had a bit of an attitude that she was better than you and she's make you wait. Sometimes I did, sometimes I couldn't. When she first started doing dances for me, no rules existed but it has been a while, so presume the rules have changed too. Anyway, she was with another guy and I wasn't sure if he was paying for a dance he just had or he was getting, and she went to the ladies room after he paid, so I waited. I didn't pounce when she walked out, but said Hello Marley. I barely got an acknowledgement and she immediately went to another guy - maybe he was a regular but didn't look like it as she talked to him for just a couple and then walked right past me, heard me say Hello again, and continued walking to find another guy - again, maybe regular, who knows. By this point, I had sat at the club for almost 10 minutes, trying to be polite and wait, and just wanted to ask her availability but she acted as if I had herpes or something. Weird as it was at least 5 years since she danced for me and possibly before that.

I looked around one last time and seeing no one else I would spend my money on, I left.

So, if you've never been to Fantasies, here is the lay of the land - you walk in thru metal detectors - they go off but at least during the day, they don't seem to care. A few feet in front of you, on the left hand side of the room is a large bar with stools on three sides. This seems to be where many of the girls hang out in between dances. To the right is a decent sized stage with chairs around all 4 sides. Around the stage there are small tables and if you take a right when you walk in, you'll see the rest rooms on your right. If you continue past the rest rooms, take a right and you'll go to the smoking patio - many girls also tend to hang out here too, so I always look before I leave.
