I've Seen the Light (But Not the Dancers)
Visited Cheerleaders for their monthly open bar birthday party for those born in the month of July. Cheerleaders runs this promotional event every month where a person with a birthday in that month may may invite up to 9 friends to an open bar party, usually from 8 to 10 p.m. Light appetizer food is also served buffet-style. The open bar party is generally a good time with decent attendance a good number of dancers working.
The club has been going through what seems like 2 years of renovations and may finally be done, but who knows? The shape and location of the bar hasn't changed, but the perimeter of the building has added a number of premium service areas including new private cubicles for VIP sessions along the back wall between the dressing room entrance and the DJ booth. A cigar room has also been added where the men's room used to be.
The latest round of renovations put a cupola over the dance stages behind the main bar that adds a touch of class to the pole areas, however there is no lighting in this cap. The performers are only lit with LED clusters from the one side of the room and none from the other side, the back wall where the video screens are hung. The ladies are dancing only lit from one side and only in red-tinted light. Customers sitting on the side opposite the lights are staring in to them which makes it difficult to see the entertainers. The only lighting on the back side of the bar is the light from the video wall and the lights in the ceiling pointing at the floor. It actually becomes unpleasant after a short while and a strain to see the dancers.
