A meh experience

I was in town for a few nights and had never been in Charlotte so I decided to check out the clubs in the area. I perused through some of the reviews for clubs in the area and decided to go with this club based on that. I went on a Thursday so I wasn’t expecting the A team and overall my expectations were pretty low because the clubs generally seem to not be great in the Charlotte area. Despite the low expectations I don’t think I would recommend going to this club.

Upon walking in there’s an area where you pay your cover, I want to say that it was $10 but I cannot recall exactly. As far as door fees go, I don’t mind paying when the experience is worth it. For a place like this, I think they should instead require something along the lines of a drink minimum. I don’t think the experience was worth a cover, if this place pops off I could see it being worthwhile on a Friday but not if my experience was standard for a weekday.

The layout was cool with a horseshoe shaped bar in the middle of a giant open room. On the right side of the entrance was several pool tables(tbh this seems like a great place to just chill and play pool, with the perks of nude women walking around). On the other side of the large open room was a catwalk stage, some seating with tables, a few couches up against the wall and two elevated “private dance” areas to the sides of the main stage. I thought the positioning of the “vip” areas was strange, you literally have to walk up a few steps and on stage to get to the vip seating. From what I was told, the far corner vip area was for a more intimate experience(30 min sessions) where whereas the closer elevated vip area was for lap dances. This to me implied extras however the girl I was talking to clarified that the rules here were fairly strict and that most girls can’t do anything of that nature due to tight surveillance.
