No Vampires here
Casa Diablo is famous for three things: $2 bills, Vegan food, and explicit stage shows. They $2 bills were ubiquitous, I only tried a vegan cookie, and while the stage show was excellent, it was more tame than expected. This is a long review, but I've tried to keep extraneous info out while explaining what makes this place so unique.
For reference, I visited on the night before a national holiday, hoping that it would have a weekend crowd and the accompanying stage show. I got there sometime after 8 and left before 2am. ID check, but no cover. I don't recall beer prices, but they weren't shocking either way.
Logistics: outside of the bikeshare zone. I didn't notice any bike racks nearby. Cheap uber/taxi ride from East Portland. Plenty of parking. Poor bus options.
