A couple strikes out

I recently hit a big milestone birthday and my girlfriend suggested going out to the strip club to celebrate. Ever since our visit last year she’s been interested in going back. We went on a Saturday night at around 9 PM. They scanned our IDs at the door and it was a $8 cover per person. (Some clubs give females free admission or discounted but not here)

Inside the door before you get to the bar there is a beer lady set up with bottles of beer on ice. My gf wanted a cocktail so we went up to the bar to get our drinks. A miller lite was $5.50 and a Tito’s vodka cranberry was $8.50. The cocktail was poured into a tiny glass so it was pretty much all vodka and very little juice.

At 9 PM it was pretty slow. Maybe 15 customers in there tops. No one was sitting at the main stage, just people sitting at the tables around the club. There weren’t too many dancers walking around the floor at this time, maybe 6 or 7 at most. I did happen to notice that a lot of girls were coming in at this time wearing street clothes and carrying duffle bags or lugging small suitcases in so it seems like 9 PM is when most girls are coming in to start their shifts.
