Saturday Evening Visit

Worked on Saturday and went out to a few clubs afterwards for some me time. Lou Turks is usually on my list of places to visit. Best time is later at night as it gets crowded. I prefer to go in earlier but like most clubs sometimes the talent is not there.

Basics - Club is in Essington, Delco not far from airport. $10 cover at 7pm and standard metal detector walk thru. Bar to left as you enter with a pole and a small stage in the middle and at the end. There is a second smaller bar and stage, but I have never seen it open. Dance area to the right. Dances are $25 or $35, common area and private. Not many dancers at this time of night and my favorite bartender Bobbie was off for the night. Took a seat close to stage and had a good view of the TV's to watch the baseball game.

Dancers - Ladies of all ages, race, shape and sizes. You are in Delco! I have a few favorites there and most were not working. Summer is a tough time. The ladies dance for 2 songs on stage and follow with a dollar parade. A new, younger, very generic dancer came off the stage and sat next to me. For some odd reason her face was painted like a clown? I really had no interest in her but she would not leave. She told me that she likes halloween and usually paints her face as a character. Finally, a familiar dancer came in and I called her over. I guess the other dancer got it and finally moved on. I chatted with Lexi for a few, had a dance and left.

Overall, a pretty good night. Im sure I'll be back.
