Daytime at D's

I stopped by Delilah's in the early afternoon hours. There is plenty of parking in the lot. Actually, there was too much parking which led me to believe the club would be empty. And it was dead for the first 30 minutes, but it picked up.

For those that don't know, Delilah's is probably the most renowned club in Philly. Big club with two big bars connected by the dance stage. Girls come down a staircase and onto the stage for two songs and are topless for the second. There are two private dance rooms that are open areas at the rate of $20 per dance. There are other more private room options that I've never tried but I imagine are expensive. My mixed cocktail was $15.

I was the only customer in there at 2:30. But it did pick up with about 10 customers when I left at 4pm. There is always a good variety of dancers at Delilah's. I saw at least six dancers on this afternoon a mixture of young/old/skinny /robust/black/white.
