Quite Boring

I stopped by the Parrot on Thursday around 8pm. The parking lot was mostly empty and the entrance was rather desolate. I entered and proceeded through an unmanned reception area and hallway and into the club itself.

I walked over to the bar and got a drink, and at no point was I asked to pay a cover. The club is cavernous, with a warehouse feel, not unlike Dreams.

There was music playing but no dancers on stage. A group of ladies, whom I would later learn were all Cuban, occupied two nearby tables. A couple of younger white and AA dancers would later emerge from the dressing room but were relatively elusive during the time that I was there.
