Now called Baby Dolls
Tye, TX. Just east of Abilene off 10. Saturday night. Plenty of parking. American flag painted on the building. Outside looks normal beat up club but apparently Baby Dolls bought it and really fixed up the inside looks like a new club. Go to the lady at the front, ID check, no cover. And in you go. Very well lit, with a lot of bright wood. Go to home depot a buy a bunch of 2x4's and stand in a spot light, that's about what this felt like. Bar island right here, people kept bitching about drink prices, I got a seltzer water for free so that was cool. Three stages going in a triangle formation, seating all between. Regular dances are in the back by the pool tables, private from the most of the club but not from the pool tables, those are $40 a song which is a lot on really nice chairs surrounding tables. Two way touch sounds ok. VIP's very pricey, I can't remember the exact ones but I think it's like close to $200 for the far booths, open booths they are with a wall separating them from the club, and upstairs I was told it was nearing 1K. Customers, looked like mostly white and hispanic middle age dudes.
Dancers. Mostly cuban. A couple white girls were the exception, maybe 25 girls or so. Nothing to get thrilled about. A lot of fake stuff. No fat girls. I would say 5-7 range around. Definitely the biggest lineup here in Abilene. Maybe best looking girl was one of the white girls, a blonde chick.
Really nice on this inside, bathroom was great here, wow they did a great job. Yeah no cover, but once inside prices are crazy. I was sitting at a table and a friendly guy returned to the same table and we just shooting the shit. He kind of let me know about the change over with the club. Upscale mostly cuban joint this is, but it just wasn't what I was looking for.
