Just Disappointment

I was visiting Portland for the weekend, and heard tales of the peculiar Portland institution that is the Lingerie Modelling Studio. After reading reviews on here, chatting with a few knowledgeable locals, and following a few instagram accounts for the different studios, I found a dancer at Just Bliss who looked to be exactly what I was looking for. She had posted her private Instagram account on the main Just Bliss page, so on Friday night I sent her a message asking about her availability that weekend, and she replied right away that she was on call all day on Saturday, and working the regular shift of 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday. I asked if I could book an appointment for Sunday afternoon, she said Yes, and it looked like everything was going to work out great.

Sunday afternoon rolls around, and my regularly scheduled meetings end early, so I check my messages, only to see a message from the dancer asking if I still want to meet that afternoon. I reply that Yes, I still do, and in fact I am planning on heading over right away. I get no reply.

Just Bliss is located on a busy main street in East Portland, with a big pink door making it pretty obvious what kind of establishment it is. I parked on a side street a few blocks away, walked over and tried the front door. It was locked. I knocked, and looked around for a bell, without success. No answer. I checked my phone, and saw that my message to the dancer had been read, but there was no reply, so I sent another message, saying that I was waiting outside. Still no reply. At this point, there's a fair bit of foot traffic wandering by, both to the pot shop on one side of Just Bliss and the pizza restaurant on the other, and I didn't want to stand there hammering on a big pink door like some kind of demented pervert, so I figured I'd get some pizza. I went to the pizza place and ordered a pepperoni pie, and sat at the picnic table outside, facing the big pink door.
