Cleared for Takeoff

I stopped by the Flight Club on Saturday night around 10pm. I was greeted in the parking lot by a group of Indian valet guys, who charge a mandatory $8 payable upon exit. The club itself was charging a $25 cover, although my understanding is that entry is free before a certain hour.

I entered the club and found a table just to the left of the main stage. I had a pretty good view of the dancers as they rotated through their four-song sets. Each dancer would do two songs on the stage followed by one song at a smaller pole nestled among the booths and one final song up on the main bar.

The dancers were a mix of shapes and ethnicities, although white girls were probably most represented, followed by Cubans. The Cubans, as expected, were among the more aggressive hustlers, directly approaching most of the guys to hard-sell private dances. In my opinion, the most attractive women tended to only approach after being tipped on stage.
