I visited Imperial Showgirls in Pico...

I visited Imperial Showgirls in Pico Rivera (ISP) on a weekend night encouraged by some positive reviews about it in comparison with Imperial Theater in Anaheim (ITA) which I had visited recently. The main attraction for me was the nude laps which ISP offers but ITA doesn't.

This is not going to be a flattering review, unfortunately. The club has potential, but there were overwhelming negatives that I could not recover from. Let me start with the positive points. ISP has a nice layout and the stage has an ideal size. The seating is very comfortable, much better than in ITA. The service and security staff are courteous, and the atmosphere is friendly. There was no pressure for drinks. As for the dancers, the top two girls were very attractive. Now, the main negative points.

1. The club is ridiculously dark. It's worse than the Body Shop in West LA, which is quite a statement. You can hardly recognize the dancers. The stage show is silhouette. I can understand why the VIP area would be kept dark, but not the rest of the club and definitely not the stage.
