Parked at Jack in the box, per usual. Asked the parking attendant and he said the “new” entrance is only open 6am-2pm every day? It was 5pm so I walked over “old” entrance

When I got through turn stiles, since it was a beautiful day, and early,, I decided to walk to Zona Norte. I have done this numerous times in the last, but it has been a few years. Through the turnstiles. Make a right and over the expressway and into town. About 1/2 mile. Then you make a right walk 100 yards and cross the street and head down the “alley” that is bustling with shops and vendors and restaurants and tourists and of course Pharmacies GALORE……..NOPE! The street is completely abandon and was extremely sketchy. Prob the sketchiest I have ever felt in Mexico and I have traveled. A lot. Then up the ramp and take the bridge over “shit creek” and the other side surely was still happening. NOPE!!!! Just as desolate and abandon as the first alley

Mind you this is not “abandoned” like a super slow Wednesday. This was abandoned like some shit went down here in 2018
