Friday afternoon

Was in the area Friday afternoon and decided to stop in for a few drinks around 2pm. I could tell by the car count attendance would be light but I had not been to this club since pre-Covid. You’re met by mandatory valet, I forgot the cost but ended up giving him $10. Walked on in, there was no one at the front desk, no visible security and no girls on stage. Proceeded to take a seat at the bar where I counted 3/4 folks liberally spread out, all booths and tables were empty.

Two dancers were working the floor, there was apparently a third but she was occupied in the back for a good hour+. Unfortunately, they were not my type and I did not agree to the vip, which I was told runs $20 + 25/dance. The saving grace here was the bartender, she was an Irish gem, and the fella that sat next to me. We drank for a few hours, racked up quite a hefty bill and that was that. I’m not sure if this is how the day shift on a Fridays or in general are these days on 8 mile, but if it was not for the bartender and her solid pours I would not recommend a visit during the day here.
