Visited: Thursday Evening

For a place as popular as Club Risque I was expecting more. I visited in the early evening around 4PM. The good news was there was no cover. The bad news is the place was much smaller than I was used to and there weren't a lot of girls. Place is pretty tight quarters compared to other strip clubs. My review is pretty polarized. I thought the main room was pretty underwhelming. Bar staff was fine, if slow and disinterested. One of the sneaky positives was the on site parking. It's in a decently safe area. Across the st. from a bunch of stores if you don't want to park there.

When you walk in, there's a bar and then you get to the main stage area which takes up significant real estate in the opening room. I was there pretty early all things considered but I was surprised at the lack of talent.

There was one girl on stage, she seemed nice and we got to chatting after her dance was over. She seemed a little strung out but there weren't really other girls walking around and there was no one else on stage, and I didn't want to blow her off and not have someone else turn up. We went for a "couch" dance which was $20. The couches were whatever and there wasn't really any privacy but fortunately there really wasn't anyone else there so we were alone. Decent mileage for a standard lap dance but I was really put off by her smell. I wish I had sensed it sooner because I wouldn't have gone for a couch dance. It seemed like she maybe hadn't showered before her shift and was coming off of something. She was pretty rude about me not buying more dances but I wasn't going to put up with that.
