Nice spot, mostly AA girls, business is slow.

I've been here twice on a Wednesday recently, and I've been here about 20 other times in the past 4 months, usually during the week, but sometimes on a Friday or a Saturday. I guess I'm a regular. I usually come at about 11:00 pm and stay until midnight. It's a nice place if you like AA women. It has a pleasant decor, comfortable chairs, a good bar, a decent bathroom, and good security. There are two stages, one big (2 poles) and another small (1 pole). Sadly, business is slow, maybe a dozen customers on a Wednesday and 25 guys on a weekend, and a similar number of dancers (12, 25) at those times. Are strip clubs becoming obsolete ? The girls are 75% AA and the rest white, hispanic, or mixed. A few are very pretty and athletic on the pole, but most are rather ordinary, and 20% of the girls are overweight. I try to tip each girl about $15 while she's dancing, fairly independently of how attractive. I limit myself to 2 drinks -- 3 max if I'm having fun. I've had VIP dances 3 times, lap dances, but they are expensive at $40/song, so on most visits I don't partake. I spend about $150 per visit, but $250+ if I get lap dances. The clientele is a mix of guys ranging from those who don't tip much (the majority) to those who make it rain. Probably only 5% of the guys get VIP dances. With that kind of earnings it's not surprising that there is a lot of turnover among the dancers.
