The Oasis - Pretty Reliable

Hopefully this review makes it through!

I have frequented the Oasis since they first opened, close to 20 years. Sadly not to much has changed with the bar itself. But, they have a great staff and quite a few good dancers.

The owner also owns another famous Philly club that recently went under an extensive renovation. Hopefully, the Oasis is not far behind! The bar and stage are big. The couch dance area is ok but most couches could use updating. The private dance area was moved and is not very private anymore. Restroom could also use some freshing up. There are also 4 portable air conditioning units in the open space because the rooftop units have failed! Need those fixed before it gets hot. 2 large screen TV’s with others surrounding the bar are a perk.. Like I previously said - hopefully the owner invests some time and money, soon!!

Enough of the building! The staff is excellent! Security is very friendly and the bartenders have my beer ready as soon as I decide where to sit. Usually sit in the same area… All the bar tenders are on point and are constantly slinging drinks and making small talk.

There is a pretty good turn over in dancers of all backgrounds, but there are quite a few regulars. Most of the girls are chatty and I do have my favorites!
