Could have been better, could have been worse...

I THINK it was a Wednesday evening.

I called to ask.if they were open and what time they closed. I was told they close at midnight.

I show up at around 10:50 real time (I don't know if this place practices bar time or not), the lady says "10 dollars", I give her my money and she says, "we are closing in about 20 minutes", which would mean they are closing roughly 30-50 minutes early and tell me literally 1/2 a second AFTER I pay.
