Rainy afternoon in West Philly

I stopped at my favorite double-club in West Philly on a very rainy afternoon. I didn’t know if the weather would encourage people to come out or stay at home. As it turned out there were very few paying customers (in addition to just a few locals drinking a beer) and only a handful of dancers (8 or 9 by 6 o’clock). The two best dancers were “November” and “Cocoa”. I have danced with November before and she enjoys being touched both above her waist and on her round ass. In the past she had bright red hair, but now she is wearing it very short, ver curly and natural black. I did not recognize her until she gave me her name, but once she did -- based on past experience -- I did not hesitate to give her $10 per song. “Cocoa” is the girl that others have described – "she has a lot of spaces between her front teeth". When I asked her how much she charged for a dance, she replied, “Whatever you are inspired to give me.” I took her for four dances and gave her $25 because on the last dance she went the extra mile with HER hands. One word of caution: after 6:15, I went upstairs to see who might be dancing on stage. A slim, attractive 30-year-old named “Emmy” started dancing around the pole and stretching out on the elevated platform, then she came down in front of me and gave me a air-dance. I tipped her a few dollars while she danced in front of me for half a song, and then she demanded $10. I had already given her several portraits of George as she danced in front of me. No one else was tipping her at all.

Then she insisted that her dance was worth $10. I didn't want a fight, and I knew the girls were not earning very much, so I gave her an additional portrait of Geroge and one of Abraham. Not much, but neither was her dance. I'm not used to paying $10 for an air-dance in Philadelphia. Since nothing else was on the menu, I left early and fought traffic through the rain.
