Small Club, Repetitive Shows, and Upselling
I recently visited Spearmint Rhino in Santa Barbara, and it was a mixed experience. The club is pretty small, which I didn’t mind, but it’s worth noting that it’s the only strip club in the area. The cover charge varies depending on when you go, ranging from $20 to $30, which includes a free non-alcoholic drink. The vibe is laid-back, and I appreciated how respectful the security staff was.
That said, I have to say that the performances got a little repetitive. Most of the dancers were doing the same routines, which honestly started to feel a bit dull after a while. If you're looking for variety in the shows, you might be a bit disappointed.
Also, I wasn’t thrilled with how some of the dancers tried to hustle for more tips. The lap dances are priced at $30 for topless, $50 for nudity, and $220 for a 15-minute VIP session, but a few of the dancers asked for extra tips on top of that, which felt a bit pushy.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but if you’re hoping for something special or different, you might want to manage your expectations.
