I took a Pricey Risk this time at Club Risque

I've been here a few times before. This is the cheapest and best strip club/bar to go to in the area in my opinion because the lap dances are still priced at $20. All the other strip joints in the area have raised their couch dances to $25. The extra 5 bucks adds up.

I was hoping to have a good experience this time around and I have befriended a few dancers here. But like most guys, I'm always curious to see if there's something better. Oh, and btw, the club is off Veterans highway. It's not too shabby once you get inside. The place is darkly lit and always tidy. It's non-smoking. The bathroom is off to the left and is small. Sometimes there's a guy in there handing you paper towels after you have done your business. I usually don't tip him. They have you (security) pass thru a metal detector and run you down after you empty your pockets. There are two dance stages with two poles. You can sit around the bar or sit back at the small tables, but there's a two-drink minimum at the tables. Sometimes they have a cover charge, usually on Fridays and Saturdays. I believe it's $10. On special nights, like pay-per-view or Porn star visits, they'll charge more. About $20. I try to avoid these days though. They do actually serve food (I've never ordered though) and the drink prices are pretty standard for strip bars. Bartenders are attractive and can be friendly and generous with drinks if you tip/comp them well. I don't drink, so get a water which is $4. I'm assuming the beer prices are anywhere from $4-$6. Mixed drinks can be as high as $12-$14. I know this because I've paid for drinks for some strippers in the past.

There are a mix of dancers here. I've seen an Asian, Latins, African Americans, Caucasians, etc. Most of them are pretty attractive. On this particular night, I was approached by a quite attractive dark-skinned female that persuaded me to get a lap dance. She was very friendly at first; said I was handsome (so I thought there was a connection). I went back for one song and during the couch dance, which was OK, but not thrilling or super seductive, she convinced me that we could do "more things" in the VIP upstairs. The VIP cost $200 base, plus any tips on top of that. It's 30 minutes with two free drinks. I ended up falling for the trick. Guys, if they don't act freaky initially, they'll likely won't do anything special in the VIP. I kind of knew this, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Aside from the usual grinding and minor fondling, nothing special happened. At the end, I was hustled out of $250. Yeah, she wanted a $50 tip for doing nothing. Oh, and she quickly departed without giving me digits or anything.
