A long Good Friday

Arrived at 8:00, I got dropped by Uber but was greeted by the night time valet, always friendly even when I’m not driving. Cover was still $10 but goes to $20 at 9:00, I believe. The staff are always welcoming, gives the club a good start.

Mel was behind the bar until 9:00, always a delight, concert going was the topic of conversation for her and about 4 PLs and I joined. Drinks are pretty much standard prices, no gouging. $7 beer, shots and mixed start at $10, they do have high end liquor and wine but no draft beer. At 9:00 the new to me bartender, DJ, took over did a good job.

At 8:00 there was the usual lul in girls as it’s home time for day shift, it’s also IMHO, a bit of a drop in entertainment value, the pretty blonde Latina on stage got tipped by me for all 3 songs but still did very little, not even a thank you, then what seemed like a forever gap before the next girl.
