Status Quo at Pinups

Stopped by Blaze about 5:30 and the parking lot was packed. Decided to go to Pinups as I have a long drive and it was on the way home.

Pinups parking lot had spaces in the front and back. Took a spot in the back. No parking fee was asked for just before 6:00. Security guard was friendly but was carrying a sidearm which was a first for me

After a light pat down I paid the $5 cover and entered. There was a new VIP area where the pool table used to be on the right. Middle section remained with a bar and a number of high tops. I find this area louder from a music perspective and avoid.

Third area to the left was updated somewhat since the last time I was there. The paid area is on one side of the stage and some new lower tables were added in front of the high tops all the way against the back wall. Got a water (it was Sunday) for $5 and headed to the back wall.

There were maybe a dozen patrons and about the same ladies. Most ladies were of the larger persuasion and not my type. Politely refused a number of dance requests.
