Very Nice Facility, But Dances Are Nothing Special
Since Players Club closed, I've struggled to find a worthy replacement in Maryland. There's no way in hell I'm going to The Block, and my one and only visit to Penthouse Club was disappointing. I was debating between trying out Millstream and Bodyshop, and because I live south of Baltimore, Bodyshop won out due to convenience.
Bodyshop is within walking distance of The Showcase Theater. In fact, you pass Showcase on your way, and there are little roadside signs with lights directing you to Bodyshop. The club opens at 8:30 PM, and I got there at 9:30 PM. While that was great for parking, it was ultimately a mistake.
When I walked into the club, there was 1 older guy sitting at the very back, and a group of 3 or 4 younger guys on the far side of the room. I recommend checking out the club's website because the pictures of the club itself are accurate. The only thing that's different is there's a couch directly in front of the stage, in addition to the tables and chairs.
