Delilahs Den Tom’s River, A far cry from the glory days of the past!!!

Made my way back to the legendary Delilah’s Den in Toms River, NJ, unfortunately even after bringing back their old manager Peabody, I don’t even think he can fix the mess he was left with from the previous manager that ran this place into the ground, chased off many great dancers, failed to recruit and new ones, and losing many of the regular customers in the process.

Went around 2pm on a Monday to see Stevie, one of my favorites from back in the day looking to rekindle some of that Delilahs Magic, more on her later!

Driving to the club there was a lot of construction on Rt 9 and some traffic but finally made it and walked in. $30 cover charge is the most ridiculous rip off in strip club history, especially daytime with a few dancers, this is why the club is dead, whenever I drive by it always looks like 3 cars are parked! The cover charge is part of the problem here, Peabody should reduce it down to $15 during the day and I guarantee customers will return! Sat down and the door guy was pulling double duty and got my water! The club looks empty after their last renovation, they removed a ton of chairs and it just doesn’t look right, the floor is too barren.
