Looking for exceptions…..

Bogarts is a low end neighborhood club with one main stage and 2 side stages. Everything fixture in the bar is over 30 yrs old, really crappy restrooms and the vip rooms all have exactly 2 small wood frame chairs, bare wood floors and, most importantly, a curtain. Lots of seating right next to the stage. Cover is 5 bucks and if you don’t like what you see there, you can get a pass to Henry’s about 2 miles away.

So why go there? Very friendly easygoing atmosphere and almost all dancers will do almost anything you are looking for. My experience over the years has been the same as many reviews before me. Mostly very low quality dancers but I always stop in for the exceptions….. and there is usually one or two most of the time.

This Friday afternoon they had a full review on stage - 10 to 12 dancers - and not one even remotely appealed to me….. so I planned to finish my beer and get a pass to Henry’s asap. The review ended and then a dancer came on one of the stages that was not in the review. Fairly long black hair, probably 40 yrs old, nice rack, cute, and a very fit body…… the exception that I come in to find! I think her name was Mia but couldn’t swear to it. She did not look particularly happy on stage but was friendly when she sat down with me. I personally like to take a dancer to the vip for one dance and then decide if it is worth it to negotiate more after the first one. She wanted more than I have paid to a dancer there before so I turned her down….but then she surprised me and promised me that she would not rush anything and would make sure I left happy. Normally I would not be dumb enough to believe that from a dancer, but it was how she said it that made me take a chance on her. I was a little surprised, but she came through with exactly what she promised. No pressure, checked with me many times as to what I preferred, took her time and honestly worked very hard and took a long time to make me happy! I really enjoyed the “dance” and would definitely see her again!
