Super off-peak hours

We get the great super off-peak hours in our winter electric rates here in AZ. I discovered Bourbon Street’s super off-peak hours on Sunday about 6:30. I know- it’s not anyone’s first choice of when to go to a SC, but it was my first opportunity in over a year, so I took it. No cover, which surprised me. Maybe they would have been too ashamed to ask for it.

I was free to select my own seat. I picked close to the main stage. The other two stages were dark. I ordered a soft drink. The waitress brought 2 tall skinny glasses filled with ice and a little bit of light caramel colored liquid for $6. Two (?!?) Maybe another instance of shame.

There were about 10 girls. The DJ was about unintelligible I can recall experiencing. Included in the lineup were (I think) Allie, Gwenna, Icy, Lexi, Nikki, Persia and Susanna. Mixed race lineup as opposed to all-anglo which was a plus to me. The problem was, the average looks were not this club’s usual. As a matter of fact, there was one who clearly does not belong here, and she hustled me not once but twice. No point in revealing if I know her name or not- if you see her, you’ll probably think the same thing.
