Vic's a classic that I will keep coming to
Vic's Place definitely has that weathered, lived-in feel that immediately lets you know this isn't some glossy, upscale spot. It's dimly lit. Don't expect anything pristine here – the place feels a little rough around the edges, and a bit dingy if I'm being honest, but a big plus here is the vibes, very laid back and chill. Everyone here is just looking to rest and relax with a friendly lady. Also your dollar can go far here.
PEOPLE: I got to Vic's on a weeknight, so the selection of dancers was a bit limited. Maybe 5 or 6 girls were working when I arrived. Mostly African-American, which makes sense given the area. They were friendly enough, but I wouldn't say they went out of their way to make me feel super welcome. Seemed like they were going through the motions a little bit, to be honest.
PRICE: Let's get to the brass tacks – this place is all about value. The cover charge was $20, and a single beer set me back $8. Dances are on the pricey side, starting at about $20-30 per song. I also got the vibe they expected some tipping on top of that. I wasn't shocked at the prices, it is what it is.
