Visited: Thursday Evening

This was the first time I visited the Rama since the Covid shutdowns as I do not live nearby. Happened to be in the area visiting a friend so I figured I would stop by on the way back.

The cover charge was $20 and I had to buy a water for $7. After a tip to the attractive bartender, it cost $30 just to get inside. Overall, the place has not changed much. It still looks like a dive. Everything seems dated. The set up is the same. There is a large outer bar with seats. On the inside of the bar area is the stage which also has seats. Not many patrons sat down by the stage, so most of the girls would just stand there looking bored and not dancing. The few times a customer went to the stage, he received all of the attention, up close and personal. Due to the set-up, there is no dollar parade which is good. But the overall vibe seemed kind of mellow and there is really no show.

Overall, the girls seemed more attractive than my last visit, but nowhere near the model good looks of the Rama from my youth. A few were out of shape, but a number had nice bodies and there were even a couple that were younger than 30. There were about a dozen girls in the lineup and all ethnicities were represented. Pictures of the girls are posted on a small screen. You can request a dance for a particular girl by asking the DJ and receiving a ticket. Eventually the DJ will call your number. But he was hard to understand at times. And the girl didn't always seem to show when called. I had two dances - one from a younger blonde and another from an older brunette. The brunette was walking around asking people sitting at the bar. And I went up to the blonde at the end of her stage show and simply asked.
