Not A Bad Night

I haven't visited Avenues in a while, and my last trip was a pretty tame daytime excursion, so I decided to give the night shift a try this time around. I arrived a little after 11:00 PM, parking in the free gravel lot on the other side of Elizabeth St., which was actually pretty full.

The entrance to the club is in the back, and there is now a metal detector to pass through. Once you've made your way through the detector, the nighttime cover is $5. The bar is to the left, and the stage is to the right. The stage has poles and a large metal ring, which no dancers used while I was there. There was once a cash-shower booth in the far corner, but that's been replaced with a pool table.

The club seemed pretty busy, at least far busier than the dayshift crowd a few months ago. I found an open spot at the bar and got a $5 beer from the gorgeous busty redhead bartender, who would make a killing if she danced.
