It was close by and open . . .

Found myself in Wilkes Barre on a Friday night a couple weeks ago, and was not ready to go to sleep after a winning visit to the casino, so stopped in Dream Girls around 1230am. Club is on a major road, with a big, well lit parking lot. Seemed completely safe.

Walked in and go to girl and security guy at the front desk. $20 cover. Outrageously high, in my view, but they are the only place in Wilkes Barre. They scan your ID, which is super annoying. I asked why that was necessary, and the security guy said they have corporate owners who want to see who all their customers are. That, combined with the cover charge, are reason enough not to go. But with casino winnings in my pocket, I soldiered on.

Go in and bathrooms are down a hallway to the left. Men's room was clean, and there was no attendant. A relatively small bar was at the back of the pretty large room. One main stage in the center of the room, which had 3 poles and probably 20 seats around it. There was a smaller side stage with one pole. The main stage consistently had one dancer on at a time, who would usually do 2 a song set, although a couple dancers did 3 songs. Every now and again, a dancer would get on the side stage, but there didn't seem to be any pattern to it. All dancers got topless, and some got nude.
