Lunch break
It was a Wednesday, about 1130am took a long lunch to stop in. They still have the COVID era temperature check and hand sanitizer machines on the right hand side as you walk in, not sure anyone still uses them. No cover charge, no ID check, and said hi to the bouncer.
DJ and bathroom on the left as you enter and bar to the right. I forget the bartender's name, but he's an older bald guy, ready to talk sports with you if you'd like, good people. The north side of the bar is the side the dancers have drinks on. They are not allowed to have alcoholic drinks on the floor.
It is a sensory shock as you walk in because the club is so dark, darker than any other club I have been to. Takes a few minutes for your eyes to adjust, but it will happen. Don't trip over a chair while that happens. Overall this is a very old building, but I have seen some upgrades fine to the interior over the years, so not bad.
