Lively on a Saturday but will eat up your money quick

Stopped by around 11pm on a Saturday not so long ago. I'd been at a house party until then and didn't feel like going straight home. The place was lively, not quite slammed but full, and there were honestly more dancers working than I could count. The vibe was good.

Pumps is like a wide railroad apartment, darkly lit, nothing fancy but not grungy either. You come in and right away there's the bar on your right, with a stage behind it. You don't have to sit at the bar. You can find a seat on the back wall, but since this is a tip-parade place, that kinda marks you as a cheap unless there's enough of a crowd already. I chose the bar.

There were tons of girls working and they were noticeably hotter than when I've dropped in during off hours. I probably saw four or five that were straight up gorgeous. This place has lots of alt-type ladies. That night it felt like I was seeing plenty of pretty standard dancers too. All ethnicities of NY represented.
