A rare miss

Found myself with a free late afternoon and decided to spend it in the hood with some of West Philly’s finest. Parking was easy to find across 54th since I got there early. I’ve never felt even a little unsafe parking my company car near the club.

I breezed in at about 5:30 and gave my $10 to the guy out front who also doubles as a bartender. Another $5 for a Guinness and I was ready to scout for the day’s fun. For those who don’t know, this is almost entirely an AA club. Never had a problem with this as a white guy and have even had a shot or two bought for me in my history here just for being a white guy who shows up.

Fun, however, was in short supply today. There were a decent amount of dancers at arrival, maybe 3-4, with another 6 or so coming in over time. I’d say it was pretty evenly split between spinner builds and thickums. Given that I tend to go for the latter, it left only a few options. The back seat at the bar was somehow unoccupied, so I slipped in there and got my first dance with G, a slimthick dark skinned woman wearing a purple bodysuit so many of the dancers opt for. I’m usually wary of the onepiece girls, as I’ve found mileage to be better with those who can merely drop the gstring, but as I said, options were limited. She provided a nice grind and was fine with the general coming out, but nothing else seemed to be in the offing. Stopped after 3 songs at $10/song and gave a $10 tip.
