Excellent club! Highly recommended

Went to Maverick's last year in July; overall, it was a great time! The building's in a fairly safe area, and it's pretty clean on the outside and inside; looks newer. Cover charge is about $2-3, which is pretty good. Drinks are more than reasonable at anywhere from $4 to $10, as are the dances; it's either $20 a song or $120 for 20 minutes, which is good compared to some of the other clubs I've been to in SD.

The atmosphere was chill and laid back, which I really like; part of that may have been that it was opening hours on a Sunday night, but given my overall impression of the place, I think it would've been nice even if it were busy. The bartender was friendly, and so we ended up chatting for a while as I waited for some dancers to show up.

Once they did, I was in for a nice time! It is a topless club, which in my opinion is vastly superior to a place like Scarlett's in Sioux Falls that is pasties-only. The dancers ranged from good-looking to knockouts, and they had some serious pole dancing skills to boot! One thing that's really nice about this place compared to others I've been to is how low pressure the girls are; I didn't once feel like I was being pressured into buying a private dance, and the girls were quite willing to engage in small talk without it seeming like they weren't interested.
