Little Has Changed…A Good Thing

Saturday afternoon the parking lot was fairly full as I drove by. Checked into the Ramada, which is a short walk away and fairly cheap for a Reno hotel. The room was decent and hotel parking is free. (Parking at the club is also free.) I know what you are thinking, but I have no idea if the girls will come to the hotel. One a few years ago that I had history with offered, but didn’t show. I just mention this hotel, because if you happen to be staying in Reno and want to be close to a club, this is a good choice. The others in the area look to be pretty bad. Indeed, this area is weak. I had some homeless dude follow me from the hotel. No issues, but I was looking over my shoulder a lot.

Went in a little before 7:00 pm. Cover starts at 8:00, but since I didn’t pay it, don’t know what it is these days. In the past it has been $20-$25. I did have a manager come to me and tell me in a rather gruff tone, “…there is a two-drink minimum requirement to be in here.” He didn’t specify if it was two drinks an hour or two drinks total. No worries. I had planned to do some drinking as I am walking distance from the hotel. My Knob Creek on the rocks ordered from the bartender was $14. The bar was very complete and clean. Both times ordered from two different bartenders. The drinks were good, heavy pours. I overheard someone buy a Dos XX beer for $8. Bought one of the dancers a fancy water for $8. Steep, but no apparent dancer drink premium. I don’t think that the two-drink minimum is heavily enforced. There were two elderly couples hanging on the stage for a while. The women each had one drink, but that was it. I think I was singled out, but after 9:00 I didn’t see that manager. The music was primarily classic rock and there were several sporting events displayed on various TVs that provided some entertainment during the long gaps between stage dances.

There were about five girls in the club when I first arrived. All White and only one who looked to be a proper size to weight ratio. Tuesday or TJ was her name. Blond, pretty, maybe 30s, sporting man mades. Two problems with Tuesday. One, she was covered in tattoos (a turnoff for me). Two, when she approached me on the floor the first thing she said was, “Wanna dance?” She did put on a good stage show and I tipped her well at the stage. She spent some time chatting up others, so I was her choice to simply hit-and-run; the problem with not being a regular. I did see one of the elderly women take Tuesday back for a private dance. Shortly after, the couples departed.
