A Damn Cheap Night

My last night in the Twin Cities, I felt like hitting a strip club but really didn't want to go downtown, not with the prices they charge -- so I hit the KOD, which is usually good and reliable for a fix when you're jonesing for some titty. It isn't a fancy club, far from, something leaning a lot more to a working-class bar, something you don't feel like you have to dress up for, although I do think they discourage jerseys and what might be taken as gang colors.

Got there about 10:30 Saturday night. The parking lot was about three-quarters full, something I'm not used to since I usually get there a bit earlier. It's a very well-lit lot, making it feel quite a bit more secure. Once inside, the ID got scanned, the ten-dollar cover was handed over to them, and security unlocked the turnstile (I think that's what it's called) to let me in. I took a glance at the vending machine of DVD porn but didn't pick anything up; why, when you can get free shows online.

A brief description of the layout: Once inside, there are about a dozen high-top tables, each with three or four high-top chairs, leading up to a counter with a few more such chairs. On the left is the bar, and down the right wall are the bathrooms, which usually aren't in too bad of a shape.
