So so Time

I stopped by Columbus Gold Friday night at about 7:30. I had a coupon from the website so I didn’t have to pay the $10 cover charge at the door. The layout of the club hasn’t changed in years. When you first walk in, the bar is to your left and it is a long bar with seating on all the way around. To your right is a room with a sea of tables and chairs with the stage on the far wall. There are VIP room to your far right and the normal dance area behind the bar to your left.

I sat at the bar and a Mich Ultra was $5. There was a about 4 guys at the bar and about 4 dancer sprinkled around the club. One of the dancers was on stage dancing and somebody had made it rain before I got there.

The dancers were three white, one black and on a scale from 5 to 9.

After about 15 minutes the dancer that was on stage stopped by to talk. She was cute so we went back for a $30 dance. It was just a so-so dance. All I had were two $20’s so I asked her for change. She wanted a tip and I said no so she handed me a bunch of waded up bills for change and left. When I counted it was only $5 not the $10 she owed me. Won’t get any more dances from her.

The next dancer that sat down was cute. She was working on her PhD, (like they all are?), but was fun to talk to. I tried her for a dance and it was just so-so also. So I decided to cut my losses and leave. As I was leaving, (8:30), about 5 cute girls came in and went in the back to get ready. I in the last year or so I am amazed how late it is for these clubs to get the dancers in to dance. Oh well, maybe better luck next time.
