Tuesday Night Specials

I had one night in Anaheim and while my eventual destination was Sahara, I wanted to pregame a little first, so I stopped in at Satin. I was staying over near Disney and Satin was a quick uber ride away. It's located in a two store front strip mall mostly surrounded by warehouses, lumber yards and the like.

Upon entry, the bouncer collected a $10 cover, checked my ID (no scan) and gave me a light pat down. Once through the curtain, you enter a really small club. The stage in the middle take up probably a quarter of the square footage, bar against the back wall and two tiers of booths on the other 3 walls. That's it. On Tuesday night draft beers are $2. While the pour is probably about 10oz in a plastic cup, $2 is hard to beat.

As I settled in with my $2 beer, the stage was empty, a gaggle of 4 girls were sitting in the corner and a couple more were sitting with other patrons. After about 15 or 20 minutes I was approached by a girl and another finally got on stage. Stage shows were two song sets, topless at some point during the second. There were long gaps between dancers. All the girls I saw were white or latina, 5-8's.
