Spent a total of 8 minutes in the bar

I have been to many NJ bars in my time and one of the things that I have learned over the years is to try some places I dismissed where there is a lot of intel where quick and straightforward extras are possible. I have only visited tihs place once maybe 6 years ago. I received a lackluster cover of billy joel and never returned. However, the recent intel of this place made me think that this would be a nice spot for a release on an weeknight. I will add that my preferred option these days is the latin parlor or agency because of the access to shower for providers, fresh young talent, reasonable prices, and last but not least a bed.

I will add for the astute followers of me that I decided to come here over 5th Avenue as I have recently learned 5th avenue is a party spot during the last week of the month when all the brazilians who lack the foresight to save during the month desperately need to make money for rent. The other 3 weeks the dancer list is pretty small.

Popped this place into my GPS and headed over. Location is very residential and the bar sticks out like a sore thumb. The only comparison to this place in respect to surrounding neighborhood is clancys, but even clancys has a few stores near it. Easy to find street parking and walked in. It was around 9 pm and the bar was pretty empty. Four girls and 2 guys. Standard bar setup with seats, a small dancing stage, and seats away from the bar. I saw the infamous booths and ordered a beer. Think 6 or 7 I dont remember. Now based on the reviews I had a low bar for the talent but at quick glance they all looked hellish. 40+ and 50+ brazilians with BBLs which looked like they turned to rock. Most of thier bodies look like trainwrecks. I am not here to disparage women , but there is a time to dance and a time to hang it up. The whole scene was pretty depressing as well. None of the women looked happy talking to each other in portuguese and getting up occasionally to take a dollar without dancing. The customers looked pretty depressed too. Seemed like a place guys went because it was so hidden and in a relatively safe area. I could have stayed and done the deed with one of the grannies but I decided to do the smart thing. I left after taking a few sips of beer and went to clancys where a hot young dominican finished me off with a handshake. Would have preferred billy joel or frank sinatra but sometimes you need to cut your losses. Maybe ill try Marcet next week or ill wait for 5th avenue at the end of the month.
