Wednesday Afternoon Visit
I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:00. No cover charge during the day and the inside hasn't changed a bit since the last time I stopped in close to a year ago. It is still very dark inside with a long 3-sided bar that forces most patrons to sit with their backs to the main stage. During the day shift the stage is rarely used, girls seem to go up only if the mood strikes them - which is pretty much never. Surprisingly there were more than a dozen dancers working this visit with only around 6 or 7 customers when I arrived. Wide range of body types and ethnicities, all of them at least somewhat attractive and none were overweight. Literally within seconds a dancer sat next to me and tried getting me to go back for a dance. Prices seem to be the same - $20 per song or $100 for 30 minutes in booth with a 5 foot wall on either side - no door. Songs are full length and each girl has their own rules as far as what's acceptable in the booths. I wasn't into the dancer that first approached me and she finally got the hint and moved on but by this time quite a few more customers arrived and the two girls I had my eyes on were now occupied. By 3:15 more customers were rolling in and I decided to head out rather than wait around since both the girls were now doing dances in the back. Bristol continues to be the kind of place that you may need to visit multiple times in order to find someone worth taking to the back, but I've found it to be worth it.
