A Pixie and a Harley on a Wednesday afternoon

My visits are always during the day time and typically Friday to Monday, primarily because it fits my schedule but mostly because the talent level is good on those days. In fact, in all my visits, not once did I ever go on a Wednesday because I had heard that Wednesday and Thursday were two of the weakest days for daytime lineups.

So I stopped in about noon last week Wednesday expecting little and that's exactly what first appeared to be the case. Dancers filtered in slowly and by 12:30 there were about 10 or so, with almost none of them being anyone that I recalled from previous visits. And frankly, none of them were at all memorable in appearance or personality with most of them just sitting around and occasionally doing the "want a dance" routine without any sales pitch of any sort. Since I typically know, for good or bad, about a third of the dancers working on Friday to Monday, it was strange to have all this uncertainty. That was replaced with a couple of pleasant surprises when I spotted the two only good looking, IMO, dancers out of the group of a dozen or so that had checked in by 1:00.

Pixie and Harley shared some common traits. Both worked primarily night shifts, but were giving day time a try. Both were, I think, mixed race with relatively light complexions. Both were very attractive, but in very different ways. Both spoke perfect English, which is infrequent at CB. (It's also important for me, since I speak no Spanish.) Both were very down-to-earth, easy to talk with, and very personable. I had dances with each one.
