Increased Lap Dance Prices Becoming Harder to Justify

I had the chance to visit Sapphire on a Saturday night at prime time for a strip club experience (12 midnight - 2 am). I used the limo service and I was lucky in that my driver arrived early versus the provided ETA. They said he'd be out front of my hotel in 25 minutes and he made it in under 20. In fact, waiting for the callback from the club and the booking conversation with the female staff member took about as long as the actual waiting for the driver.

We get to the club in about 10-12 minutes and my cover is waived (that was awesome). I only had to tip the driver. Front staff is friendly here which I really appreciate. I'm from Canada and not used to this kind of professional, courteous service from SC bouncers. I totally get that they're just being nice to butter me up for spending hundreds in their club but I don't care. Courtesy is always appreciated and, as a business traveler who's been to many clubs over many years with varying experiences, I noted this as a positive.

Once I'm welcomed inside, the good vibes start to wane a little. I immediately notice that the club is nowhere near as full as it should be for a Saturday night at midnight. It looked like it was at maybe 40% capacity. When the club is dead like on weekdays or afternoons, they will have a huge curtain up in the middle of the club since half of the floor is not needed and they want to block that section off. The curtain was down at this time (thus allowing access to the entire club) but it honestly wasn't necessary since half the club could have easily accommodated all of the assembled patrons and dancers.
