It hasn't gotten better but it's still tolerable
I really want to like Bare. Whenever I'm in LA I usually stop in to see if things have changed. I have to say that between the high prices, aggressive girls, and not so fun atmosphere it is a shame this club cannot be as good as it once was. In the old days really hot girls would walk the floor naked regularly. Many have written on this site about the atmosphere. Well whatever you hear, that still does not happen post covid.
On this particular evening, I paid $6 for my parking, $20 for entry, and $8 for a coke. I tipped the waitress $10 so I could get an idea of what was going on there these days and she told me which girls I had dances with in the past that were working that evening. I don't come in too often so it seems some of my favorites have moved on to greener pastures.
What I found odd was that when I looked at the list of dancers on the whiteboard behind the DJ booth, it looked like there were at least 15-20 girls working - but maybe 5 on the floor. This explains the crap atmosphere. The only girls that are on the floor tend to be the "wanna dance types." As for any kind of vibe where you can chill with the girls - that seems rather non-existant. The pace of girls dancing on stage seems slow as well. If there are 15 to 20 girls dancing, and a fairly packed house of 10 customers +, I don't understand why management doesn't put the entire roster on stage - especially at 10 PM. A couple of girls were at the bar glued to their phones.
